Hi @Glenn21
Cannot find any confirmation that your Projector supports HDCP 2.2.
As this is normally required for 4K content most modern 4K TV sets will support this.
However your projector is not 4K capable and is 1080p resolution.
As 1080p doesn't need HDCP 2.2 support it's possible that your projector also does not support HDCP 2.2 which a Q Main box requires.
It's specification says it includes HDCP but does not clarify which version.
If it will not work with a shorter HDMI (3 or 4M) then I suppose you could consider using a Sky Q mini which could possibly be located nearer to the projector and could therfore use a shorter HDMI cable. Minis will not require HDCP 2.2 support.

I have a mini in the other room which I use for multi room, I could swop the boxes around and it may work.

Hi @Glenn21
You could certainly try your Multiroom mini with the projector.
However you cannot swap a mini position for the main Q box position because the main Q box needs the cable connection from the Satellite dish.

So, I've got it work and I'm believing it's a HDMI issue, I plugged the projector into the sky box with the sky HDMI cable and it worked.....obviously my 8K Amazon HDMI cable isn't good enough or the wrong one, my next question is can anyone recommend an 8 meter HDMI cable? It will HD only not UHD.. ..Thank you everyone for your help.
