Have you tried rebooting your Q box @CJax09

To reboot press Standby on your Sky Q remote (if the box responds to the remote), and then switch off and unplug at the mains.
Wait at least 30 secs and then Plug back in and switch your Sky Q box back on at the mains.
Wait for the on screen instructions to disappear and the front led to turn Amber. Then wait for 30 secs before you press Home on your Sky Q remote or if this is not working press the standby button on the front of the Q box (Amber led)

note: some features may take up to 5 minutes to return.

@CJax09 It's hard to advise when so little information is given.

What if any error messages are showing on your TV?

If Wednesday is the earliest date then you'e actually very lucky, until then there really isn't anything else the forum can do to speed this up.

@Mica.

To be honest a wait of 3 working days is pretty good. You'll have been given the next available engineer slot in your area.

@Mica. Unfortunately that's one of the downsides of pay TV, if you don't want to wait for Sky to send out an engineer you could always pay for a local independent installer/engineer to see if they can sort the problem out.

@Mica.you need to consider, as a backup, having a terrestrial aerial connected to your TV so if your satellite system fails, as has happened in your case, you can watch all the Freeview channels.

Of course, if you have a smart TV and working broadband you can stream the likes of itvx and iPlayer and providing you you have subscriptions you can watch the likes of Netflix and Amazon Prime.

So potentially you shouldn't have to sit in silence..

Yup, I have to wait until next Thursday and reported ours on Wednesday this week!
