Re: Netflix: Red Spinning Circle on Launch

And have you tried the solution at:-

Worst case scenario use the TV's built in Netflix App.

Re: Netflix: Red Spinning Circle on Launch

I have found that as a worker around, loading amazon prime and then Netflix, works every time!

Re: Netflix: Red Spinning Circle on Launch

Hi I thought I would join this thread as we have been having the same problem with logging on to Netflix with SKY Q for months now, sometimes it works sometimes it doesn't and its very annoying.

Re: Netflix: Red Spinning Circle on Launch

This problem has only recently affected me, though I see from the amount of posts it has been an issue for many for quite a while. I pay for Netfix via Sky, but I can access it instantly via the app on my Blu Ray player, so the issue is definitely down to Sky. All of the other apps (Amazon Prime, Disney Plus, You Tube etc.) still work perfectly when accessed from Sky. This is extremely frustrating. I have tried all of the suggestions on the forum, but nothing helps. I guess that my next step will have to be that I raise this matter as a complaint with Sky

Not necessarily, Netflix have changed their online accounts to make it easier to remove devices, especially Sky boxes. It could just as well be down to Netflix, not that it's particularly important.

I had this for a long while but Sky did something to my account (possibly just remotely removed the authorisation token on the box) and I've not seen it again since midway through last year. Interestingly, I changed the box a month or so back and it worked flawlessly from the off. Which is just as well as I'd not considered having the problem back again 🙂

Re: Netflix: Red Spinning Circle on Launch

Just to make things even more confusing, Netflix works perfectly on my Sky Q mini box. It's still not working on my main Sky Q bow though 😡

Re: Netflix: Red Spinning Circle on Launch

Mine works fine on our mini box as well, so I can watch it upstairs, it's the main tv with the Sky Q box that's the problem

Re: Netflix: Red Spinning Circle on Launch

I guess it's about time to contact Sky, enough is enough (even though it's just come back on my main box - though probably not for long!)

Let's just hope Sky gets its act together and sorts this out once and for all 🤞

I fear contacting Sky will do little to help your cause.

Have you tried this:

Can you try these steps please:

1 - Log into Netflix via the web browser.

2 - Highlight your profile picture (Top right corner).

3 -  Click on Account.

4 - Under the Security and Privacy option, click on Manage access and devices.

5 - Select the device name: (it may be called SkyQ ......or Sky UK Set-top box).

6 - Select--> click on the "Sign out" option on the SkyQ ......or Sky UK Set-top box.

7 - Go to your SkyQ box and launch the Netflix app on your SkyQ box.

I'm the opposite; it always works on the mini box, but only sporadically on the main box. Problem is ongoing😖

Re: Netflix: Red Spinning Circle on Launch

Same problem but only since last week. Spinning red circle when trying to load from Sky Q box. Any idea of timeframe for a fix?

This issue has been going on for many months. Sky and Netflix are working on a fix but on the meantime....please try the fix 3 posts above yours. It's worked for many other people on here.
