Hi @leanne108   Is it on the Royal Mail database? If not, that is the first thing you need to sort out.

What services do you have?  As an aside you need to give 2-4 weeks notice...

Sure, but you are at the mercy of available OpenReach and Sky engineers - the likelihood of being available on 19th is close to zero.

I'd contact them again - it may well be they've mistyped the postcode on their system.

Take all the equipment with you.  The mobile phone will be fine - only the account address needs updating.

As noted, OpenReach will need to provision the service and a Sky engineer will need to erect a new dish (if required) and connect and test.

Ok, sure - you'll have to see what slots they have (once they get past the address issue).

Re: Moving home

I thought they had to disconnect you and then move it to the new property

No... You can remove and unscrew all the cables from the Q box and router.  (You leave the dish behind)

IF the new property has a dish already then it may work as-is.  But for the phone/Internet there's a provisioning step required to enable the line.  (Or even cabling work required to the property if there's no existing line)
