I am moving home to an apartment from my current house with SKY broadband, SKYQ and UHD and dish. I've requested my service is moved and received an email and confirmation of the move.
"Thank you for getting in touch with Sky. Your replacement box is on its way and will be with you within the next couple of working days. Our courier will be in touch to confirm the date and time of your delivery."
Does this mean no SKYQ box and it's recording facilties, which I use extensively, and I guess will just be Streaming ? This was not explained when I requested the move and there was no mention of a new dish, so I don't know what this new box provides? How do I automatically record BBC, ITV series, and sport such as Formula1? Can I record local ITV news like I can do currently on SKYQ?
I do have a balcony but don't know if I'm allowed to install a dish? BUT do SKY prefer NOT to provide dishes any more by default?

Thanks. I've just spoken to SKY and the box being sent out is a replacment router and there no change planned. I'll need to find out if there's a communal dish. Thanks.
