Hi,
I would like to move our external cable so we can move our sky box. I've rung Sky but the automated robot goes round in circles and it isn't on Sky's website. Does anyone know how we can arrange for an engineer to come and move it for us?
Thanks

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out moreI doubt Sky will accommodate this as they no longer support Sky+ set-ups. You will almost certainly need to employ a local satellite engineer at your own expense.

Thanks - I realise I have posted this in the wrong channel as we have SkyQ, not Sky+. I will repost in the right channel!

To contact Sky, go to this link: https://www.sky.com/help/home
Scroll to the very bottom of the page and now select the Need More Help dropdown, this will lead to a phone contact.
Ignore the automated messages, just wait for an advisor
Good luck.

We also want to move an external sky cable, but my wife wants the new cable when it comes through the wall to be channelled into the wall and possibly through the ceiling to the new television point is that something Sky would do?

No chance! You'd need to go to an independent for that sort of job

Thanks for that but they will move the external cable to another room and drill through outside wall? Thanks

Yes, with a likely £65 charge, when you finally get an engineer booking. It would probably be a lot quicker to go to an independent
