Re: Is snow affecting Sky Q
I'm in Yorkshire and the 2" snowfall has affected my TV signals, despite not using a dish....Strange.

Communal systems are fed by a dish although you don't have a personal one.
The dish may be somewhere on the property or even further away
It is quite possible that the Communal dish is affected

Re: No signal to all channels catch up working
No signal or no satellite signal. They are different.
Is there snow on the LNB on the dish? If so see this thread
https://helpforum.sky.com/t5/Sky-Q/Is-snow-affecting-Sky-Q/td-p/4871474
A message displaying ”no signal” tends to be generated from your TV and normally means your TV’s not seeing the Sky box on the relevant HDMI input.
If you are seeing a message of “no satellite signal” firstly check that the connections from the Sky dish going into the back of your Sky Q box are still finger tight. Otherwise it’s almost certainly a dish alignment issue so check the troubleshooting in this link
https://www.sky.com/help/articles/sky-tv-no-satellite-signal-sky-q
It may then give you the opportunity to arrange an engineer to check the alignment of your dish. If it doesn’t you’ll need to contact Sky to book an engineer appointment.
If you are connected to a communal dish you need to liaise directly with your building management company / landlord who will have their approved engineers to contact.
It’s worth remembering that a misalignment is not necessarily something that will be visible to the naked eye and could only affect one or two channels.

Re: No signal to all channels catch up working
Even if you get sky through a local fibre connection from a communal dish, you're still using a dish for live TV and subject to weather effects.

Re: No signal
Is there bad weather/snow between your dish and the orbiting satellite?

Re: No signal to all channels catch up working
No satellite signal here either. Followed all of the troubleshooting steps, all other services working fine, only signal provided by satellite not working.

Re: No signal to all channels catch up working
If snow on the dish is the cause you'll just have to wait for it to clear. It's going to be a problem for a lot of people today.
