Re: Engineer call out
Sky Q customers … there is no charge for normal engineer visits but there is a charge for some things such as moving a dish due to building work / scaffolding etc which is around £65.

Re: Engineer call out
Sky Protect Device Insurance is now required to get installer attendance for Sky+ / Sky+ HD
Strictly speaking it's also necessary for dish and cabling issues with Sky Q, but in practice Sky installers fix those for all Q subscribers where the dish is reachable.

@Llanwecha67
In case you aren’t aware this is a customer to customer forum and you’re not contacting Sky Customer Services by posting on here. Perhaps if you tell us the problem you think requires an engineer visit?

Re: Engineer call out
You misunderstood, I'm not saying anything about you opinion, I'm just saying sky won't help you .if you require an engineer they are saying get your own one .the issue is looking for an engineer to call out . And I'm just saying what I've been told by a sky employee. Ud think they would help their customers.

@Anonymous
Do you have Sky Q, which is the board you've posted on? The scenario you've mentioned applies to customers of Sky+ / Sky+HD which is no longer supported by Sky.

@Anonymous
Not sure where you get that idea from. We are customers here trying to help other customers and no replies to you have been in anyway inappropriate or unkind.

Actually you've posted in the Sky Q forum intended for anything to do with Sky Q. Feel free to post details of the issue you're having with your broadband here, and someone may be able to help or advise you: https://helpforum.sky.com/t5/Broadband/bd-p/sky_broadband
