Re: Disney+ is Now Included in Most TV Packages!

I couldn't see an option to downgrade, it really did force me into a payment page for premium. So I just had to abort the process.

I seem to have Disney+ "My Sky" says it is the free package that is active but my account just has "Complete Activation" against Disney+.

I do have the modicum of relief that others have encountered similar. It worked so smoothly with Netflix, where you could select a plan as part of the transfer. I was pushing my luck trying with Disney+.

Hopefully it will get sorted out, but it should have been tested before going live. At the moment it does look like a trap for premium - the only way to avoid the trap is to abort the process part way through!

Yeah it looks that way. When I clicked on 'save with sky' it just wants to charge me £9 so I just aborted. But I have zero confirmation that I've activated the free option. Silly.

Disney+ activation issues

We've had confirmation from Sky that our free Disney+ is now activated but when we log in to Disney following the Sky instructions) Disney is making us select a package at cost (£4.99 for the free one) and asking us for payment card details. If it's activated through Sky as we've done, surely it shouldn't be asking for this?

Hi @DeanM21   The easiest way is to open your MySky App, go to Your Products, select Disney+, expand the Disney+ choices and choose your free plan.

I'm trying to activate Disney+ via the Sky Q box and getting a MYSKY_2306 error, anyone any idea how to fix? No issues activating other apps like Paramount+.

I'm already signed in the Disney+ app on Q and have tried refreshing the apps.

Aa far as I can tell, abort the process when it asks you for money. Then go to 'My Sky' on the TV and click on the Disney+ under "upgrades".. For me it had all the levels there to select (£0, £4, £9). It said that I had the free one activated (even though I aborted). Then login to the app.

Hopefully I have the right thing and hopefully haven't been charged!

Wrong Disney+ subscription linked to my sky account

Hi,

We have Sky Q and my son has been using his Disney+ via the Sky Q.

We cancelled his subscription on 19th Feb  as Disney+ would be available on our package.

I have logged his Disney account out and reconnected my Disney account with the activation/ verification code  on tv restarting my subscription which I have been billed for.

His account shows as free with adds through Sky.

Disney points to manage account through Sky while Sky directs you to manage subscription through Disney.

How do I change the Disney subscription linked to my Sky account?

I don't get this. I only get an option for £9?

Re: Disney+ is Now Included in Most TV Packages!

why are some disney plus tv shows like Mandalorian available to download to the sky box, but others have to watch on sky app?

will this change? is Disney Plus Movies going to be the only official Disney channel? going through the app is annoying

Re: e: Disney+ is Now Included in Most TV Packages!

This is same as what I'm getting. Want to upgrade to Standard but not getting the option, only Premium.

Re: Disney+ is Now Included in Most TV Packages!

Okay. Not seen this covered yet so here I go.

I have a separate annual sub. Given the issues around the refund, I won't be switching my current sub to Sky right now. But my current sub is also on a different email address to my Sky sub.

So can I add a new, basic-with-ads sub to my account now, using the same email address I use for Sky and then, later on, move my existing sub over?

Thanks.
