From reading other comments, it appears they had this same problem back in July. You would think they would be able to fix in quickly, assuming they are aware of course.

Do you all have VoLTE switched on ?
and data roaming (iPhone)
2/3G are no longer available in USA and 4G is now Voice over Long Term Evolution
LTE is 4.5G, speed upgrades/VoLTE/Wifi Calling (Voice over WiFi), and o2 UK has 2/3/4/LTE /5G still live but that won't work roaming in all countries due to the move to 4.5G/LTE as a minimum.

Thank you so much for bringing this to our attention.
I understand that this is frustrating and apologise for the inconvenience this has caused you all. I've escalated the problem to the relevant team here at Sky and will keep this topic informed with any updates.
For now, I'll be marking any posts I create with updates as Answered for better visibility of the most recent information.

Hi Samraj,
Thank you for finally acknowledging our posts. What will Sky be doing to compensate us all?
This was supposed to be mine and my wife's holiday to Vegas, but the lack of service, this resulted in being a terror!
Please keep a note of this as I will try call the service team as soon as I'm back in the UK.
Regards
Jay.

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out moreHi @Jay_Joshi I doubt you will get any compensation. Sky do warn that sometimes your mobile may not work when abroad. Worth asking on your return but don't be surprised if they say no.

You'll have to complain on a case-by-case basis. But, as noted, the contract says, "We have no liability if you are unable to access Sky Mobile services abroad".

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out moreYou won't get a timeframe I'm afraid in case it takes longer than expected. Sky are working on it but probably have to work in conjunction with US networks.

I have had a nightmare, been here 2 days and most of the time the phone hasn't had service just sos!!! I've got 4 days here and kids at home who need to be able to contact me and they haven't!! This is terrible service by sky, I changed to sky as thought it would be good it's not!! Twice I've had to contact sky and go thru the whole process of trying to get the phone to work it's ridiculous!! If it doesn't work again tomorrow I'm going to have to buy a USA sim!! Major complaint going in when I return to uk
