Bought iPhone 14 outright — eSIM/number transferred but no network
Hi, I recently bought an iPhone 14 outright and transferred my Sky number from my iPhone 11.
I tried putting my physical SIM in the iPhone 14 after transferring everything from the iPhone 11 while setting it up. The SIM rattled in the tray and didn’t connect properly, though the phone showed Sky. There are no bars, and I can’t make or receive calls or texts.
I tried to install an eSIM but the eSIM hasn’t fully installed yet — it shows “Primary (my number) — On” or “Activating,” but nothing works.
The old SIM in my iPhone 11 is still in there, but it also doesn’t work now. I’ve tried restarting, toggling Airplane Mode, and reinstalling the eSIM via the MySky app, but no luck.
Can a Sky moderator push the eSIM to my device remotely or advise the fastest way to get it working on the iPhone 14? Any help would be greatly appreciated. I'm normally good with technology and am able to transfer sims easily on previous phones and for other people. I'm really not sure what I'm supposed to do. I can't access any calls or texts or do the security code number where it authorises your identity.
Thanks in advance 🙂

Hi @phoebe1024 this isn't sky CS here so no one from sky will be able to push your esim through. You will need to find a way to call sky to order a replacement physical sim. Once it arrives and you activate it it's then up to you if you want to convert it to an esim. If you can't phone then you could try the social media links at the bottom of this page to see if they can help.
