Re: SOS in USA

In Las Vegas - exactly the same issue. Tried everything. Will have to pay to add additional Wi-Fi to extra devices now. This is ridiculous.

Re: SOS in USA

Same issue, in New York and 1st day no issues then out of the blue SOS only. Tried contacting Sky, did the whole virtual thing (useless), only way to get in touch is to call Sky. Impossible as I have no service. Did all the troubleshooting that they advise and nothing, it's an absolute joke. Raging I swapped over to Sky mobile.

Sky monitor this site and it is alarming to see so many mgs with no reply from Sky.

Im in a contract so not sure if I'm able to cancel. As Sky are unable to provide me with the service I pay for is that a way out of the contract!!!!

So frustrating!!! I too am in contract so can't do much at the moment, I did the online form and managed to get thru to an actual assistant that eventually managed to sort things but only after 2 days of sos!!!

Re: SOS in USA

We did exactly as I posted earlier in the thread.

As soon as we got home, I requested 3 PAC codes and moved all the numbers to Vodafone.

Sky had the cheek to try and charge me full roaming charges too 😂😂 got this credited.

Re: SOS in USA

Absolutely hilarious to read you from the other side of the world are even sillier than those here when it comes to your mobile phones! SKY answered messages 3 times, yet almost all of you complain that SKY monitors the messages and chooses not to reply. The truth is none of you that claim this will read through other messages, you join a thread and post exactly what everyone else posted because you can't be bothered to read through a few messages to see what is going on.

When in the US and to act like your vacation is ruined because your phone doesn't work? WOW! It is an easily fixed issue if you absolutely, positively can't survive your vacation without a phone. Buy a burner phone, they are cheap and work wherever you are. But when I travel abroad, I absolutely positively NEVER bring my phone.
