I have used a PAC code to take my number from Vodaphone to Sky but when I text the new SIM number is showing. I have tried ot change the SIM number in 'my phone' settign but it wont save. Can you help? @Chloe-W22

Help please! I have switched to sky and chosen to keep my old number, i have the text and email confirming its all changed but when i go on the "phone" setting on my iphone it says that my phone number is the sky one not my old one, even when i try to manually enter it and press save it doesnt change. I am unable to use apps that require sending texts of codes/passwords because im not getting the texts but i am able to recieve texts from my contacts? I went to a sky store but they told me to contact sky mobile help

I had a very similar problem recently.
It took a conversation with an advisor to sort it.

I am experiencing the same issue I have followed the advice re going to phone and putting in the correct number. It is retaining the number but still no service. Sim working fine in another phone so seems to be same iPhone issue, can anyone advise?

I had confirmation my number had swapped to Sky but my texts and calls are still sending as the temp number. Tried changing number like in the initial post but this hasn't worked. Unable to use iMessage either.

Hi
transferred from virgin to sky and carried my number over. Since the transfer was complete and I received the message from sky I am not receiving texts / callls and verification texts aren't coming through. This is causing major issues as I use my mobile for work and I'm now left pretty much none contactable, I cannot use my apps that involve verification messages as they're not coming through, if this isn't resolved urgently I will need to cancel my contract. Please help asap I'm getting sick of sky fobbing me off when I call.

Similar issue to others on here. My wife and I recently ported but our phone numbers to Sky from EE (both have iPhones). The transfer went through after 2 days and got the notification. The numbers both ring when you call them and seems to be correct.
However the number in the phone menu in settings on both of the iPhones is incorrect and will not save whenever I try to change it. Probably linked to it, the iMessage and FaceTime registered numbers give the "This number is registered to your Apple ID but is not associated with this phone" message.
Appreciate any help from Customer Support on this. Thanks

Same situation here.

teext to confirm on Tuesday

no iMessage or facetime
no texts received for verification codes only from people on my contacts list
spent 45 mins on phone with sky earlier to no avail. Told to wait 24 hours now.
fwd up already and wosh is stuck with EE!
please help!!

Hi,
So after a month with no help from CS here or on the phone, I decided to root around and see if I could reactivate iMessage and Facetime. Below is the procedure that worked for me:
- In Settings, ensure your phone number is showing up in the phone screen under my number
- In Settings > Messages > Send & Receive, untick your number
- In Settings > Facetime, untick your number
- In Settings > Messages, turn off iMessage
- In Settings > Facetime, turn off facetime
- Restart the phone
- In Settings > Messages, turn on iMessage
- In settings > Messages > Send & Receive, tick your number
- In Settings > Facetime, turn on Facetime and then tick your number
IMessage and Facetime should show waiting for activation. You should then get it activated after a few minutes.
Hope this helps someone else.

I recently ported to Sky from 02. However during this process their seems to be an issue, I can still receive calls on both accounts as they have the same number. I have contacted Sky to see if the fault lies with them, I was sent a new SIM card as they said it's was the issue. I have also spoken to 02 who have said the problem lies with Sky as the account is deactivated . How can I resolve this issue
