She said it was on the list to be dispatched today but could arrive Monday because of DPD not delivering on Sundays. At this point, who really knows, I've lost faith that any information given has been correct. 

 

I wasn't too bothered about getting it straightaway and assumed there would be delays, but it's getting a bit silly. Have to agree with others that it's frustrating seeing people who ordered days after the pre-sale launched getting theirs first, seems to be no rhyme nor reason with how these are being distributed. 16 years with Sky doesn't seem to have made much difference either, I can see quite a few others on here with longer loyalty years in the same boat! 

 

Trying to be patient but this whole process has been so tedious...


  • 25 years for us. Ordered on pre order day at 1:03 and to this day the only email /text / contact I have had was order confirmation. I have since purchased and received from Argos. I asked to cancel the order with sky as it's still not dispatched and they said sorry it's too far in the fulfilment to cancel wait to receive it and send it back . So it's not moved at all since I ordered but I have to wait for you to dispatch it from your warehouse to receive it and send it back to your warehouse there's just no logic I will have to pay to have it sent special delivery else it's not insured so I lose out again . Then the next person recommended I cancel and promised me they'd get it sorted which they haven't days later and the next one after that canceled the swap but again told me I have to receive and send back . I'm bloody fuming and fed up at this point . Will not be using sky again after this

You will have to call Sky and get them to cancel your original order and then order the alternative device. This will require further credit checks.

l’m afraid you aren’t speaking to Sky Customer Services by posting here. This is a customer ➡️ customer discussion forum where we try to help other Sky customers.


As we’re customers we have no insight into current stock levels or any delivery timescales. The most up to date information (after credit checks are complete) on your particular order should become available at:
https://www.sky.com/help/articles/track-sky-order

When your order is ready you should get an email from Sky, and then another from the courier (in the UK that’s usually DPD) which should have details of your 1 hour delivery time slot.

Any orders for iPhone 17 devices are likely to be delayed further as this happens every year when a new iPhone is launched.

There's no way such a massive global entity doesn't have entire departments dedicated to minutely analysing every product launch, which strongly suggests their annual conclusion is that they make an entirely satisfactory amount of money doing it this way.

More accurately, tens of billions.  In 2023 global iPhone net sales were around $200 billion (or over 50% of total Apple Inc revenue with a very nice 25% minimum profit margin on each unit shipped ; )
