Sorry for the negative post. Kumar has confirmed to me that Everyone who's received the text message for delivery before the 27th September 4th and 21st it's a lie. Sky don't know when they will be receiving stock and can't guarantee any deliveries. 

Kumar has also confirmed that sky are misleading customers and providing them with the wrong information. He couldn't answer me why they are still taking orders even though they don't know when they are receiving stock.

If you go back I've been having multiple calls with management. Kumar is a manager at sky. They don't have any dates of stock arriving for the phones and told me that my text of "Hi. We expect your iPhone 16 Pro Max to be delivered by 04 October 2024. We'll email you a day before it's delivered. Thanks for your patience." is a lie and he's sorry I received that message ans also sorry that sky employees and managers have lied.

I ordered my pro max DT on launch around 1:10pm

I'm now awaiting a call back in the next 48/72 hours.

@champagneslay I'm just disappointed and disgusted that sky ain't telling  customers the truth and are relying on sky community. Sky shouldn't be taking more orders as they don't know when they are getting stock. I'm sure there will 1000s of us in the same boat.

@Mikeyuk @yeah it's so bad, the lying and deceit we've all been having to deal with and to be told by the manager at sky that it's all a big farce is a no show. So bad.

@champagneslay Its so bad not only for the reasons you've stated, but because many of us have lost our chances to secure our orders from other retailers as the backlog has only become worse since Launch day.

2-3 days more and I'm going to cancel and see if I can just buy one from a store and just pay extra for it than have a silent delay in not knowing what's going on

@champagneslay im so tempted to cancel mine now, don't think I feel comfortable with them taking my money every month when they continue to lie to people. It is infuriating

If we go by past releases when it comes specifically to the pro maxes beyond the initial shipment it will be mid October to the end of October that they ship. I imagine being the most expensive it sells the least and the focus for Apple is most likely base iPhone and base pro as they are always the most popular models. 

I think it was the 12 pro max actually had an official release date that was a month after the others.
