@Kalim I totally agree. I might see if I can pay monthly via apple. Not only what you said to, but people have now lost a day of work wether they're self employed or with an employer only to loose out on money for one day which was pointless it's so poor

@champagneslay I believe Apple only offer the device on finance at around £49.95, so the data plan will need to be outsourced on a sim plan from another provider.

that's how I originally placed my order but saw that Sky offered a 50% off deal for the first 12 months

@Kalim a long wait down here, i won't be able to get my 16 pro max from apple until the end of october now if i did get it. i'm a bit stuck

Although my phone and sim appear in the Sky Mobile tab on the app, I don't have anything in My Orders.. should this be a concern or not? Sky doesn't seem to know and can't tell me why it doesn't appear

I have been following this thread for ages and it's very long now 😅

I'm sick of not hearing information from agents but also hearing misinformation. If they don't know anything that's bad but to say random things to keep me happy isn't helping. I want answers and access to a phone I'll be paying over £1000 for.

@champagneslay @Personally I wouldn't cancel it. The amount of people that will probably cancel with contract providers and order from Apple will extend your wait. Apple have got to fulfil their preorders still too I bet so chances are it won't be any faster. As much as sky don't know when they're getting shipments Apple will be getting pressure from all providers to supply asap so could be a week could be longer but if Apple is around 4 weeks who knows if that's taking into account fulfilling preorders as well or on top of them doing them too.

I ordered the 16 pro max in desert titanium. Was promised by both an email and text that it would be delivered on the 20th September but it just didn't show and haven't had another email or text explaining why so I was forced to call them. Agent I spoke to said they don't know what's happening and can't give me an expected delivery date, just asked me to wait another 1 to 2 weeks. It's a joke! What was the point in pre-ordering? I can't even look elsewhere because I'm meant to be swapping my old phone for this one! What a nightmare 😞

@Suze181 yeah you're right, i think i'm just gunna wait - at least one day i'll get it. £39 a month is great but we get fed lies and junk by sky employees!

@champagneslay  I know and it's beyond a joke. The upside is it isn't just us. I read o2, EE and Vodafone forums and their customers are all the same. No answers and no phones. We just have to hope for a miracle they arrive sooner than later and just wait it out then demand compensation from sky
