Apple iPhone 16 range now available for pre-order on Sky Mobile

Hi Everyone

 

The Apple range is now available to pre-order for everyone.

 

Some top tips about your order:

  • Please make sure that you sign your credit agreement, otherwise you will lose your place.
  • We'll keep you up to date with your order by SMS, so keep an eye out for them.  The first message will tell you the earliest date to expect delivery, and we'll message you on the day to advise of delivery.

To Swap your current device for the iPhone 16:

  1. Go to your My Sky account and sign in.
  2. Select the device you want to Swap and Start your upgrade.

iPhone delivery dates

Probably the first of many to ask, but do we know when to expect a delivery date for iPhone 16 Pro Max orders? I haven't had ordered an iPhone at launch in years and never via sky, so any rough info is appreciated!

Hey, I've preordered a iPhone 16 pro max. This time around it didn't ask me any questions about my old handset for Sky swap and I can't see anything about it in my confirmation emails. I just want some reassurance that I will be able to send my old device back and also whether there is any outstanding payments on the phone.

Hi @Ctapp80  I would call sky as this sounds like you have placed an order for a new phone rather than a swap. Call them on 150.

New iPhone 16 pro max with o2 Sim Card

Hi I’ve just preordered the iPhone 16 pro max and got the free 100mb sim with it however I pay monthly for an o2 SIM card which I want to use I'm my new iPhone 16 pro max. Is this still possible? If so what do I do with the sim that comes with the phone I was thinking of putting it in my iPad that I pay monthly on sky too or it is possible that I don't have to pay monthly for the sky sim at all, I'm just wondering how will sky get in touch with me if I don't use the sky sim.

Hi @Kyrar2002  no you don't have to use it, you can use your O2 sim. You can activate it and use in an iPad and top up from your piggybank if you have data there, be aware they will charge for it in 12 months (you can cancel then if you want). Don't activate it if you don't want to use it.

@Ctapp80 I was wondering this myself. got a 15 pro max and I can swap but when I go to put the order in it didn't mention anything regarding my 15 pro max that I'd be swapping. I've held off on ordering for now hoping it's just a website issue not showing the swap!

@Person354 @I just spoke to them on the phone and it had gone through as a new order. Strange as I followed the usual steps for a swap??

 

They were able to convert it to a swap over the phone though so all sorted now!

@Ctapp80 Yeah likewise followed the usual steps. At least you've got it sorted!

 

Might hold off until it is fixed online and shows as a swap on the website, not a new order! 😂

Everytime i click on sign Credit agreement is redirects back to main sky mobile page

I've done an order and used 100gb from my piggy bank to bring the price down. The 100gb has left my piggy bank but the order doesn't appear anywhere in my app and I've had no confirmation email. I'm not sure if the order has actually gone through
