Sky go not working on iOS

my sky go does not play anything on iPhone or iPad, all I get is loading screen nothing else. I have tried deleting, logging in and out, deleting the device from account, clearing cache and nothing works. Anyone have any fixes or solutions

Have you tried rebooting your broadband router assuming both are connected to a WIFI network ?

Yes I have tried that and reset it. If I connect via hotspot or 4g then switch it off and let it automatically connect to WiFi it will then play but not if I try and play live tv directly with WiFi

mines exactly the same.  works on 4G but not on full fibre internet provided through LIT.

It was working previously, and no help at all onle that i can see to correct it...

Sky go won’t work

Hi. 
my sky go won't work , I just have the spinning wheel of death.

I've tried  switching box off at the wall,  tried turning my devices off and on again,  turned router off and on again . gone on to Sky Go settings on sky box and reset , Sky  go still won't work .   
any ideas ?

Are you using anything like a VPN that be causing this issue, if so try disabling it.

Same problem here and I am also on LIT fibre. Seems to when it goes to play the ads before starting the video.

Once three customers on the same (rather small) ISP report the same symptoms then it strongly suggests an external network routing issue rather than the app itself.

I got this reply from LIT.  I just got a chance to try and it now works !

 

From what i can see your Sky devices are connected to a TP-LINK TL-SG105E switch.

Please disconnect the TP-Link completely and then power cycle the router(keep it powered off for 10 seconds).
Once the router's back online you can safely reconnect the switch and the connection should resume as per usual.

This issue is caused due to a conflict in the IP assignment process and is thankfully a quick one to resolve.
