Hi Paul if remember correctly I had to confirm or click something in the my sky app before the access code was accepted & then the process moved on on

Sky glass successfully restored to switching on.
Log in to sky app (and tried on Web app).
Go through setup process on the glass. Get to activation code entry.
Web page/app say activated.
Glass doesn't move past screen showing code.
Only have on sky I'd which is logged in.
Tried on WiFi, tried on LAN with glass.
Tried the code entry on android phone on 5g. Windows PC on both network and paired with phone as a hot-spot.

I have called twice and waited 30 mi utes each time but gave up! I know it's a technical fault and when will this be fixed?

My problem is the Sky Glass tv just doesn't switch on! There is power to the tv. My Sky internet and WiFi are all working ok! Maybe a fuse blown in the Sky Glass tv?

The initial process worked for getting mine to switch on. Hold power button, keep it in while disconnecting mains power. Then turn on mains power while still keeping power button pressed.
You'll see the red LEDs blink after about 15 to 20 seconds. When they flash u can let go.

Have tried unplugging the tv, waiting a few minutes holding the power un on the side and at the same time plugging the tv back in

On the page where you enter the code, you should see some kind of back or similar key on the page ( not the browser back key), you need to do that for it to progress on screen.
You may need to scroll up and down the page to find that.

Thanks for the info I am not a sky glass customer and my puck won't even load I just get a sky symbol then it turns off wish I never left virgin now and they were horrendous I will just cancel my DD see how quick I am contacted then

I have followed but still can't apply code to my account been without service for 3 days surely we should have updates when I phone same answer given basically WAIT we are working on it !!!

That is the problem we ar e discussing on here that many customers are having.
This is the resolution that works, that you have to do.
It has worked for many Sky Stream and Sky Glass TV customers over the last four days with the issue.
Follow the procedure exactly as described in post 2 of this thread, flagged as the Answer post from Sky.
Try holding down the button for as long as possible, it won't harm keeping it pressed longer than mentioned, but release when you see the blue screen instructions on screen.

If you have any issue with activation during the process or entering the pin do the following;
Activation problems:
Try refreshing your browser cache or try the activate link in another browser or device.
Before clicking on the activate link, log in to your MySky account first.
Also, try this alternative link;
Make sure you have logged into your Mysky account in your browser before trying.

Also, you could try using a mobile phone, not connected to your home broadband.
Pin problems:
When at the pin stage and it fails.
Remove the power from your Puck or Sky Glass TV, leave off for a few minutes and repower.
It will continue, follow the instructions.
This has worked for many having a pin issue

Yep same for me here no tv for 3 days I couldn't even get through to sky

Very unwise. Sky won't contact you. Cancelling your payment method will increase your problems. Sky services (when this is fixed) will be restricted, late payment fees will be added, you won't be able to speak to Sky, you won't be able to cancel and continued non payment will result in Sky passing the debt to a Debt Recovery company which will ultimately affect your credit score.
