Yahoo mail constantly marks a safe email as Spam or 'dodgy'!

On my Windows-11 PC, I use Outlook and have set it up with safe sneders etc., and all is well. But it seems Yahoo Mail is regularly marking one of the safe senders' email as Spam/Bulk. Can't see anywhere in the Yahoo client to stop this happening.

Can anyone help?

Seems like it's fixed. Added the email address that was causing the problem to my contacts and the next email that arrived went straight into the Spam folder (?!) from where I could mark is as not spam. Thanks to all your suggestions.

Are you using IMAP or POP with Outlook?

But it seems Yahoo Mail is regularly marking one of the safe senders' email as Spam/Bulk and they are delivered to my Outlook client as such. Can't see anywhere in the Yahoo client to stop this happening.

While viewing the email on the Yahoo client, it reports that "This message seems suspicious", but if I click the "Take action" box, all I get is "You have been redirected to this page because the page you requested was not found"!

 

Can anyone help?

So it is on the Sky website via your online account that these emails are being wrongly marked as spam ?

Have you been marking these emails as Not Spam as you need to keep doing this so that overtime this system learns that they should go to your inbox.

You should be able to do it by opening the email itself when it is in the wrong folder as the option should be at the top of the email somewhere.

The mail in question is always in the Inbox, but marked "This message seems suspicious". There is no option to say it's safe.

When you are on the Sky|Yahoo webmail, there are 2 ways.

Either the option at the top, or the right click option.

I suggest there is something about the email that is triggering that warning. Check the headers to see if you can see what it is that the system is suspicious of.

In a previous post it seemed to be that the senders and recipients addresses were the same.
