That was only one example of the kind of things that may trigger the warning.
Does getting the notification cause any problems with the email?

Seems like it's fixed. Added the email address that was causing the problem to my contacts and the next email that arrived went straight into the Spam folder (?!) from where I could mark is as not spam. Thanks to all your suggestions.
