Purchased sky max thinking it would improve signal strenght but it hasnt. The internet constantly cuts out and struggles with connection. Paying more for a worse signal at this point!

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out more@Cotly the Wifi Max hub is potentially faster than the older hubs but doesn't have a greater range. Sky will supply extenders as part of the Wifi Max bundle they send one out if you ask and up to 2 more can be supplied if an engineer agrees they are needed after a visit.

Did anyone happen to resolve this? I recently upgraded to the new hub and my speed is poor and keeps dropping

I have recently upgraded and my connection drops every 5 or so minutes. My sky max hub isn't showing in MySkyApp either so cannot configure.

Rcwntly changed to max and its worse than it was before!
ive had issues with my broadband for the last 2 years! Multiple engineer visuts from Openreach and sky. Was really hoping this would sort it.
any ideas sky? Why the connection would be worse than it was with my old device?

Yes I am the same. Although my booster pod came today i had to call them up and ask for one. Its still an issue im way below my guaranteed speed and the checker app is constantly saying i have broadband issues . Well yeh no joke sherlock .. im now having to allocate my kids gaming times so they can all game peacefully . But my printer keeps loosing connection to while I'm working and I'm having to wait longer times for printer que loads . It's so tiring .
