Hi, I'm looking for some information and possibly reassurance!.
Openreach have been out today to install a new overhead line and terminal box. I was expecting this to end near the existing phone line entry point, as this is where our router and landline currently are. Instead the box has been placed on the adjacent (kitchen) wall, some distance away. The engineer had gone by the time I spotted this! If the cable was to enter the property here, the interior terminal would be among the pipe work and electrical supply below our boiler, so not ideal to say the least. Will the Sky engineer be able to run an external cable from the box along the exterior wall? There is a 90 degree corner involved - is this the reason for Openreach siting the box where they did?
Any thoughts would be appreciated!

Yes, as long as there's a clear route at just above ground level.

The CSP (external enclosure) is typically at the point closest to the cable entering the building plot. The optical pigtail can turn a corner: it just cannot do so sharply.
