I have a Dell laptop and I cannot see the Sky Router in the Wi-fi list. I have an extender and I can see that.
Any thoughts ?
All other tablets and devices are fine.

@Blazerfox There would appear to be an issue with the Dell laptop if all other devices are fine. Do you see any wifi connections when you ask the dell to find wireless devices available? If you can see the extender you can also connect to it but may be a little slower due to transmission from one to the other. Let us know if you connect via extender and broadband internet is fine.

I can connect to the extender fine. I have reset the laptop and installed all updates but still cannot see my Sky router in the wi-fi list.

@Blazerfox Which hub do you have? Have you checked dell help on connecting laptop?

I have Sky Wifi Max Hub (White). As stated all other tablet and devices can see and connect to this but not my Dell Laptop. There is nothing on the dell website about problems with this. All drivers and windows has been updated.

Is this a problem @Blazerfox if everything is working as it should then why concern yourself?

It is not working as it should as I cannot connect to my Sky Hub directly with my Dell Laptop.
It won't even see it in the wifi list.
I have an extender upstairs and it connects to this but this is obviously slower.

Right. I seemed to have cured the problem. If you update the driver and choose to install from your computer, I had two drivers, one was Intel and one was Microsoft. I changed to the Microsoft one and it worked.

@Blazerfox Well done 👍, would also be good if you let the specific/general model of the dell be know on the site, microsoft driver probably little more easier on someting specific than the intel device driver.
It can be a pain for any wifi device to connect, and new Sky Max hub is AX compatible.
Regarding the Max Hub, recommeded is turn of either 2.4ghz or 5ghz on temp basis, see if the device finds and connects, then turn the band back on. It normally sticks to the wifi in that case. But if the MS driver is working its not a problem.
AX wifi (wifi 6), is designed as to work best as a single ssid operation to maximise speed of device so not all combinations work out the box, just some info for you. Jim

@Blazerfox @This is helpful to know. I have exactly the same problem with white hub and a Dell laptop and likewise my other Devices are working fine. What was the driver you downloaded please?

I have the white sky max hub & also have a Dell latitude D630 laptop & it won't connect to the WiFi ( will with the cable), it's strange because my fibre it worked perfectly, just not the max hub. Thank you for the info regarding it & I shall be doing same with mine today 😊
