Re: technical fault with channel sky glass

I was expecting issues with live TV streaming as more and more users sign up to the service.

Re: technical fault with channel sky glass

To be fair we have been on Sky since just after launch and the only issues we have had recently was when the whole ADSL network in the South East self destructed. Occassional synch issue on audio but nothing major most of the time.

Re: technical fault with channel sky glass

And here as well. All channels every 5 mins. Will try recommended re-boot from the wall socket for 4 mins and see if that helps. (Will make 5 mins just to be sure).

We've had power cuts in the local area so thought it was attributed to this but looking at all of these posts it seems to be a common issue UK wide! Let's hope this gets sorted soonest if a reboot doesn't help.

Not an option for anyone running the latest Q12 firmware or Puck users (incl Sky Stream).

Re: technical fault with channel sky glass

Also experiencing the same issue.

Looks like a sky issue rather than our Internet connection, especially as so many of us have the same technical fault.

Re: technical fault with channel sky glass

Just called Sky to discuss and the automated voice told me they couldn't talk to me because they are having technical issues with their systems at the moment and they are working on it!

Important if sky want to retain their credibility to paying customers they come on to this thread and explain the problem NOW please.

Re: technical fault with channel sky glass

It's not a software issue because my puck has been running off the same software version since I set it up almost two weeks ago. It's likely Sky's servers are having issues, maybe because of a high volume of traffic? Who knows! Hope they resolve it promptly.

Re: technical fault with channel sky glass

Glad it's not just me. Had it 2 weeks today and it's been great so far.

Re-Booted router a few  times and have changed connection to ethernet but it did go down also with that.

Been OK the last 10 minutes.
