Re: technical fault with channel sky glass

It looks like this problem has now gone away.  Thank goodness.  Had sky glass about a year and have been happy with it recent months.  Onwards and upwards.

@Dave+r+robbo

At moment it seems a bit of a widespread issue but people are saying it is getting resolved.

Re: technical fault with channel sky glass

I've got 2 pucks. I tried switching them, leaving them off for 10 mins etc no joy.  I rebooted my (Sky) rooter and then it was fine.

Re: technical fault with channel sky glass

Mine was Channel 4, some days no probs but I'd say 6 out of 7 days there's a issue!

Another issue is when I turn on puck probably 10 channels have no information where programs should be shown, this isn't all the time but it happens a lot,  or I get black screen with program loading. I know streaming is the new but this reminds me of how Sky was years ago bit of bad weather and you wouldn't have sky for days!

@Tara+S+29 from the sound of it your issue is not related tomyesterday's fault.In all likelyhood your issue is due to a marginal,wifi signal getting to your Stream/Glass unit. These boxes need both sufficent bandwidth and low interferencecwhich a single wifi router cannot mange in many homes. Using an ethernet cable is highly recommended butvwhere impractical the use of a Powerline adapter kit can greatly improve  performance these use your mains wiring to carry the data. You could also look into buying a whole home wifi solution but these can get pricy.

Re: technical fault with channel sky glass

Many thanks, I'll try plugging the Ethernet cable in again see how that works puck wasn't too keen on it last time but I'll keep trying 😊
