Why can't I download programs

What is happening when you try to download anything?

I been trying to download programs on bbc and other channels but saying I need to upgrade but don't know how I have the top package

All BBC stuff needs to be accessed from the iPlayer.

What you mean what software it's on skyQ I've always been about to record programs on it and now it's saying I need to upgrade

@Liverpool202020  The confusion is because you posted this in the Broadband forum, had you posted correctly in the Sky Q forum we would have known it was related to Sky Q.

Have you tried a reboot of the box, power down by turning oss at the wall for 30 seconds then reboot the box.

@Liverpool202020  If you've done all the usual trouble shooting the next step is to call Sky, best times to call are after 9pm or 7am.

Lots of us new customers with this issue. While you wait for sky to fix, go to settings, setup, preferences and change the download quality to SD. This enables the downloads \ streaming options,

I've read through these posts - have you called Sky to see if they can sort out a card refresh and check all is in order in your account.

Sky tried a card refresh for me. Didn't help. 
said they'd fix in the background.
