Experiencing same connection issues to virgin broadband. Spoke to first sky advisor who was aware of issue but I was cut off when transferred to tech team. Second advisor unaware until I mentioned. No connection to briadband at momnent with no fix in sight. Happy to put up with some faults due to early adoption of new product. But list of faults is growing daily. Now no connection is final nail in coffin. Will be returning Friday as will have to re thread all sky q wires, a job too laborious to start at present.

I have had same issue since 1pm, do hope they are looking at refunding their valuable customers for lack of support and service, does not bode well with new tv service

I have Virgin broadband and sky glass, won't connect to Internet. All other devices do. I have resorted to plugging my old now tv box into the sky glass, which works.

Hub 3 mate

Sky offered me a refund. But small consolation when no access to watch anything until it's fixed. With no timescales in place and no ability to watch anything except on mobile devices leaves me in a bit of a predicament. Would of cancelled as said earlier, but loathe to spend time reconnecting old system back on wall with early tomorrow

Some are saying setting the hub to modem mode.
I would try it but I've taken the glass down off the wall now and a new one is coming Saturday

Ok, was following another thread for problems with Sky Q on Virgin Broadband and they suggested updating the DNS server to 1.1.1.1 in settings. Tried it and I now have an internet connections so tv now 'working'. The challenge now is nothing is streaming. Select a channel and have a black screen. So much for plug and play.

I think it's Virgins fault. I couldn't connect to my works VPN for 2 hours today.

For Virgin users, try visiting this link and select 'No', we have to ensure our home working employees do this for some of our Remote Apps work as it stops using Virgin's crappy DNS safety whatsitdoodah.

Well now here's a thing.
I plugged a bt extender disc into the hub.
laid the glass out on the floor and turned it on and bugger me it connected upto it.
but unable to link to my account now as sky have it flagged as pending return.
even the virgin hub connects up.
I think with the replacement I'll go off the extender disc.
im bloody confused by it all now 😳
