How do keyworkers speak to sky as i just keep getting cut off. I will be soon paying too much for my sky package and if i cant resolve this i will have too cancel but how do i do this if i cant speak to sky. So the only option open to me will be to stop my direct debit which i would prefer not to do obviously.

Hi @Nicola39 You need to call SKY for any account queries, or try Twitter, or Facebook Messenger.

Bare in mind that the 10% refers to the full standard price. Eg Entertainment has gone up from £27 to £29 (so under 10%). Depending on any discounts you may have, the price of your Entertainment Pack may have gone up by more than 10%.

What are sky doing for bills. I have paused sky sports already but with both me and my partner being self employed we have absolutely no income and can't pay our bills.

After 5 weeks of broadband never working my first bill came through at a whopping £75. When I called to dispute it I was told that it would be reduced as I would not be charged for a service that they weren't providing. Shock horror payment due date comes around and £75 has gone out of my account and I can't physically speak to anyone to correct it. Angry is an understatement, sky customer service has been absolutely horrendous so far.

Hi @oj01 , I think that is exactly what happened, it went up by the same amount as the full package although I had literally a couple of weeks earlier negotiated a new price. I will be having the same conversation shortly, I've had to spend 1 hour a week resetting all the boxes and have only now (hopefully, it's been a few days) got everything working via cables but using very expensive homeplugs. I already had a couple lying around from pre-google home wifi but I had to spend £97 on a new pair. I'm still in the 18 months but I got it in writing that I could leave if they continued to provide a bad service, which 1 hour a week of my time and either £97 or £388 of my money covers I reckon.

@peter2020 then perhaps they cannot afford this premium non-essential product in the first place. I've always said (and followed my own advice) that you should seek to have a six month financial buffer to shield you against unforeseen disasters. It looks like many people have no buffer at all. Perhaps this crisis will serve as a wake up call to many.

Tell me about it - I am stuck with a tablet and potentially a phone I can't return within 31 days due to this - so I am now having to hope they let us do it afterwards!

Pause your subs. I have and they just took the Sports charge off my next 3 bills - this will of course go back to normal when the pandemic is over - but for now they are letting you have Sports and not pay for it.
As Arnie says " Do it, DO IT NOW!!!!!!" 😉
