Still restricted

Hi, i was late paying my bill so sky terminated my account and put a high charge on my account. I paid my outstanding balance of £39.95 but its still the same. Can i get my sky broadband back?? I have no idea what to do.

If your account was terminated as opposed to restricted that means no payment was made in over 56 days so Sky may decide you cannot rejoin. Were you that late paying? Did you set up a new continuous payment method?

Daniel0210 hi, i was about a fortnight maybe 3 weeks late paying, when i paid my outstanding balance i also set up direct debit.

If you were more than two weeks late you will have to pay the next bill as well.

Then it would seem you'll have to pay that to perhaps prevent it all passing to a debt collection agency.
