Never say never again!
ye I find it odd that we have jumped to 008
that's not happened before
unless it's meant to be a fix for the remote issue that they have applied accross the board
looks like you are only 3-4 days behind me now

@Anonymous wrote:@Jporch316 I think @Chrisee is right, it doesn't work like that. I had my set delivered in the first week of release and seem to be at the back for updates.
What I find strange is this update to .008, why not just go straight to QS012, apart from a Netflix issue a few weeks ago, I have had no issues with QS011.007 (seems like another Bond reference coming on!!)
It's possible that the upgrades need to be applied in sequence - one of my pucks got stuck on QS7 and when I rebooted it after QS11 was on my other one it still did all the upgrades in turn - QS7 to QS8 to QS9 and QS10 and onto QS11 over the course of an afternoon. Think it was only once it got onto QS10 was it able to wake properly without toggling WiFi off then on (presumably why it had got stuck on QS7 not being able to do overnight checks)
Presumably 008 is now fully released so you'll get the update for that while QS12 is still testing.

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out moresince the upgrade to 11 008 I'm getting the dreaded network connection drops again - had a few today. Really annoying as I thought the were a thing of the past several updates ago .

Are you also getting the tv turning itself on randomly or the off screen flickering.
Another new feature confirmed in a Sky Tech call yesterday.
New firmware to be released to rectify.
Fix one thing, break two more. Does not fill one with confidence 😕

I agree but sadly that's sometimes how it is with firmware if multiple people work on it they mess things up they didn't code themselves. Not defending Sky as it shouldn't happen and should be perhaps seen in QC testing but sometimes stuff like that makes it out into the while as it's missed. Least they are acknowledging the issue.

My Sky Glass got the firmware QS012.007.00P early this morning
My Bluetooth headphones connected and working
Bluetooth volume though needs to be boosted in next firmware
Note
It's only Sky Glass that's gets Bluetooth ability for other devices and not Sky Stream Pucks
On quick glance picture quality has improved on Sky Glass but that was just a very quick viewing of some live TV and on demand content.
Will check it in more detail at the weekend to see if I notice any more improvements
The screen text and menu looks lot better as does playlist layout
Still needs though in next firmware the improvment that most would want is to move latest broadcast at the beginning where there is a series of content
Still have to scroll to end for latest broadcast example Live:Formula 1

Does this update have the new playlist that is accessed via the top rail alongside TV Shows Movies etc. ?

@Anonymous
I only was using for a few minutes this morning
I mostly just spent time setting up my bluetooth headphones and quick viewing of live TV broadcast
I will check tomorrow morning when I get home from work in regards to your question

I've noticed I've been upgraded to QS011.077.00P and have noticed frequent video and audio drops every 10-15 seconds whilst watching live TV tonight across multiple channels, it cuts out for maybe a second and returns.
Streaming Sky content or through other apps such as Netflix etc is fine.
Hopefully it's resolved quickly as it's very annoying and was working flawlessly before this update.

@Anonymous
The Q12 Firmware update does not have a seperate playlist tile that is accessed via the top rail alongside TV Shows/Movies/Sport etc
Playlist though is listed in each genre section when you click on each if you added content to playlist for that genre
Example when you click on TV Shows etc you will see Playlist view all only for TV shows you added to playlist but this has been available a good while to see content you added to playlist
Has been since I got my Glass TV /Stream Pucks in August 2022
A new addition on the home menu after Tv Guide is listing of content coming soon to sky
Playlist View all for all content you added to playlist is on home screen menu as usual just below this
