Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out moreThought I would report another new firmware dropped over night version 13.502 no news as yet as to what this customer facing changes are included if any. The only visible change is the addition of a new line at the top of the System Management list of Entertainment 1.0 - I have heard the Stream/Glass OS referred to as the Entertainment OS before so that probably means little.
If Sky give us a heads up on what is in this release I will post in this thread.

Another one?! They're spoiling us now!
My puck did a weird thing this morning - was watching ITV1 then pressed home and was navigating down to the apps rail to select YouTube to watch some stuff on there. The screen then suddenly just went black, before I'd selected YouTube, but the ITV1 audio continued. I tried pressing home again but nothing happened. It wasn't a disconnection of the HDMI connection because my TV shows on-screen when the video input changes in any way. After about 10 seconds the funny coloured boot-up line appeared along the middle of the screen and the home menu suddenly reappeared. All the while, the audio from ITV1 had continued. Very strange.
I wonder if that was some kind of background firmware update happening?

Bug fixes hopefully 🙏

I had exactly the same issue yesterday pm, watching prime video, mid programme telly went black, sound didn't continue then the sky logo appeared on screen after which the coloured start up line appeared and I was back to home screen. I assumed it was an update of sorts, but I'm only up to 13.009P on my tv and 13.007 on my puck.
65" Sky glass, sky Superfast broadband + 1 x luck with LG tv.

Sorting all the app link issues and bugs should be the priority here!

@Anonymous If the past is anything to go by then you and I will be waiting until the New Year!!!
13 Dec 2022 01:41 PM
@WG+Wright be very surprised that we get it before the New Year, as I think the software roll out date embargo is the end of this week - unless its a minor update then they may send it out to everyone this week. Unusual numbering for the Glass/Stream updates this time not sure we have seen a three digit suffix previously.

Agree, roll out Profiles (I'm not interested) many are waiting.
Sort out continue watching to remove content no longer interested in or watched.
Sort out search that is so wanting.
Sort out Netflix
And all the time squash those bugs.
Not asking for much in the scale of things.
