The UI changes for when playing content is very nice and welcome. The UI changes for channels menus are nice too.

@Debonsteve59  Your Glass/Stream will be updated as & when, the rollout is done in small batches 1st in case of any issues.   Then rolled out in bigger batches, patience is required.

Like you I'm a customer here, Sky Employees are clearly identified as such.

Patience is not something I have with IT updates

Re: New Firmware QS012 - support for bluetooth head sets.

The only problem I've had the whole time I've been on Glass has been waiting for the menu/remote to respond after turning it on. It'll start up and display the home screen and I have to wait 20/30 seconds until I can do anything. Hope one of the software updates fixes this soon!

@skillwill

I had this problem ages ago - I reset and repaired my remote and it fixed it.

with all of the current issues with the remotes though you do it at your own risk

try the below

The remote can be reset and paired again following these steps;

  1. Press and hold 7 and 9 together on your Sky remote for three seconds.
  2. Press and hold 4 and 6 together for three seconds.
  3. Press and hold 1 and 3 together for three seconds and follow the on-screen instructions.

I find if that happens I just have to press the "Home" button once the home screen is displayed and it all starts working.  Everything else is unresponsive until that extra home button press.

@Jporch316 QS011.008 landed today so probably only another 2 - 3 weeks before QS012 pops up!

@skillwill try just pressing the home button to start the puck rather then the power button it does seem a bit quicker

@Jporch316 it doesnt work like that unfortunately . Last batch is always the bulk of the fleet.

@Jporch316 this worked! Thank you so much, that was irritating me for ages - I just assumed it was a software problem that would be fixed.

That seems bizarre to me that clicking home button is quicker then the power button.

@skillwill
it annoyed me as well I thought I had yet another dodgy set !

it was only the fact that the previous set didn't do it that made me try it

Re: New Firmware QS012 - support for bluetooth head sets.

@Jporch316 I think @Chrisee is right, it doesn't work like that.  I had my set delivered in the first week of release and seem to be at the back for updates.

What I find strange is this update to .008, why not just go straight to QS012, apart from a Netflix issue a few weeks ago, I have had no issues with QS011.007 (seems like another Bond reference coming on!!)
