I have now plugged mine in to a smart plug so I don't have to keep getting up to unplug it.

That's the exact same as me, any sky channels go off always seems to be as adverts about to start, did you get a resolution?

No, booked a call with sky they failed to phone. I chased and got a call 2 days later telling me it's my fault as there is to much latency with my network (bt) I then told him, that's handy I switch over to sky broadband in 24 hours, he went a bit sheepish and admitted that there is a tiny buffer with programs but not with the switch to adverts and that's the issue. They are phoning me back Thursday for a further chat but I'm not holding my breath. until there is a os update it won't be resolved, when they rolled back to os16 over the wekend it was fine but since the forced os17 update we are back to the same problem.

I have been getting the 'technical problem' message and I will get the message 'please wait for your program to load', when a program comes back on after the ads after a a few seconds back in.
To clear the latter I have to come out of the program and then go back in it, otherwise it just sits there frozen in a pause like state.

It would also help if Sky did not insist on you reaching lev3 before you can edit your posts.
