Just getting “ please waiting for your program to load”

Hi

we have 5g 3 mobile internet and regularly get waiting for programme to load and not connected to the internet

canceled sky broadband as download speed and Wi-Fi coverage was poor

currently seeing 300mbps at the tv when speed tested.

has anyone been able to use a vpn with the 3 router? Or have a guide/fix to fix the issue

For those with the 3 cpe pro routers, if you go to network settings and go down to profiles, you can add another apn and at the bottom you can set dns server manually. I googled the apn settings for 3 internet and added it, then set the dns to 1.1.1.1 I restarted the router and now my sky glass and puck loads everything just like it used to. Worth a try if your having problems.

Work around.

1. if you have any form of a mesh take it off bridge mode and set the dns on the mesh system to 1.1.1.1

2. As mentioned if you have a CPE router alter the APN as mentioned above to 3internet but set your own server, 3 will not be happy about this as they will not have access to your usage to spam you.

3 if you have 3s latest router unless you have some form of ability to hack it you cannot change it.

Been having same or similar issues. Not been able to load certain programs after waiting for program to load and then getting a blue screen . Watched Taskmaster seasons 1 to 4 and now season 5 only get blue screen. These issues only started a few weeks ago. Prior to this the system was excellent. Main reason for getting Sky Glass was due to only being able to get 15 Mbps Adam where I live. No fibre available from any provider. Reason for 5g from Three. Hope this issue gets resolved post haste.

@Dazzar51 I am having the issues with the Three 5G Internet on Sky Glass, unbelievably frustrating.

I have the CPE router, I see you suggest a workaround but I'm not sure I quite understand it, what do I need to do to get the DNS changed to 1.1.1.1 to get it working?

I've got the netgear orbi mesh system, I've changed the dns to 1.1.1.1 but how do you take it out of bridge mode?🤷‍♂️🤔

For people changing on mesh systems and on CPE you need to go to internet settings and look for local network settings this is where I found it on my Linksys system as well ,

Take it as above if you have 3's zte router there's nothing that can be done at present?

I can't understand what has changed because up untill 2 weeks ago it's been very good!!

Now it's borderline unusable

@Rpjm there is a way on the ZTE 5G from Three, but it involves a bit of a hack. There is some code on ZTE MC801A Review | Page 28 | ISPreview UK Forum that you can paste into the console in dev tools for chrome, Edge etc (Hit F-12 when on Router Admin page) that enables some switches and one is to override DNS settings. It's not really something for beginners but if you're a little tech savvy you should be able to do it. I haven't done it this way as I use a secondary mesh network where i can easily change the DNS. But this should do the trick. Obviously this isn't an official method, so be prepared to have to factory reset if things go wrong, and i wouldn't play with the other settings this hack enables just in case!

Actually... I just tried using the above script to change my DNS and it stopped my internet working completely. Maybe this way does not work. I'd say unless you know what you're doing DO NOT TRY!

Are you with 3 aswell @AntInBristol ? Also what mesh router are you using?

@Rpjm Yeah I have the Three 5G router. I use the router for just the internet connection and then I have a series of 3 Huawei Ax3000 routers providing the wifi and ethernet connections through my flat. If you don't need the full spec routers and just want the ability to set DNS for just the sky box, something like a Huawei WS5200 (aout £15 on amazon) would be fine to connect via ethernet to the sky box and zte router and you can set the DNS.

[The 3 5G router's wifi didn't perform well in my flat - going from 800-900mb/s in the same room to less than 50 just 2 rooms away. With the series of Huawei routers i get solid Wifi6 in every room and speeds are no lower than about 600 everywhere.]

Still no update and still using the dns 1.1.1.1 on my mesh.  Only way of getting it to work without a vpn
