I've had any blocks removed on my Three 5G broadband but still, I can't watch Sky channels on my Glass. Every other streaming service works perfectly over the 5G. Sky Go also works completely fine on the Xbox, but that must be using different servers. I've now canceled my Sky subscription until they get it fixed.

Change the DNS on the sky box to point to 1.1.1.1
This fixed the issue on my Dad's Sky+ Box so should work for others.

Thanks spigby, will try that tonight.

Thank you, that appears to have worked. I will raise it with Three anyway as there is obviously an underlying issue.

Hi All, first time posting, I'm glad I found this thread as I have the same problem with Three 5G as well. In the summer, Now TV, Netflix etc were all working fine through Three. I then got Sky Stream pre-launch, and it was working fine as well until the day after the official launch day. I am guessing either Sky or Three have deliberately put a throttle on a firewall to limit Sky Stream traffic.
I was wondering if we have an update from Sky over this?

DNS set to 1.1.1.1 on my mesh network's connection to the Three Broadband router WORKED! No need for slow VPNs and extra expense! Thank you!

It works, but i think only with the right setup. I don't believe that 3's routers have an option to set the DNS directly - I had a quick look and couldn't spot it (ZTE 5G Router) and on the Sky Stream Puck the DCHP settings always show 'automatic' and I can't see any options to change the DNS there either. Obviously if anyone knows differently and can put a guide that can be marked as the answer for those connecting directly through a 3 router that would be great.
In my setup the Three router is only used to connect to the internet, my network is managed through a series of Huawei AX3000 Routers providing ethernet ports and a mesh Wi-Fi network. On these routers the DNS can be set manually and works when set to 1.1.1.1

This works for me too. Not ideal but if you have the option, it will get things working again.
