Why can't I down loads tv programmes on demand keeps saying failed

Trying to download the gilded age episode 5 but keep getting download failed message at top of screen and in download in manage says 120%

There are some downloading issues on Sky Q & Sky+ platforms which Sky are aware of and trying to fix. They have updated their status page as per this link

Are there no Sky Employees monitoring these chats to provide updates. I have emailed CEO..enough is enough now... we are paying thru the nose for an inferior service, whilst Sky plough all their efforts into Glass and Stream..ignoring Sky Q or older customers. Not interested in investing time on old technologies when they have shiny new toys to play with and sell.
Thats 2 big issues now that i have..along with others clearly.

I watched Resident Alien S2 E3 and every episode before absolutely fine, now all I get it is 'failed to download.' I've tried restarting Q twice, deleting programs, must have tried a dozen times to download over last few days and it just fails. Phones Sky and the wait is 40 minutes which I'm not prepared to wait. 🤨

Mines the same - resetting doesn’t work (so please stop advising people to do this). This is also flagged as answered - which is alao
misleading. It is clear that this is a significant fault with sky - they should be providing updates to their customers- not some fluffy message saying some users may experience a problem. Well over 24 hours now.

That post is marked as the answer so that you and other posters can see at a glance that Sky are aware of it and working on it, to stop the need for reading 250+ posts.

Whenever I try to download an episode of something it states download failed! Everything else works except this!

Hey everyone!!
im having the same issue 🥹😩😩!!!
Started from lastnight! Started brassic, now it won't let me download anymore episodes.
I've had,
-"failed download".
- started downloading which took forever which resulted in a frozen screen.
- downloaded 202%
- "because of technical issues your download couldn't be complete, please try again later"
BUT I've just managed to download a film for sky cinema no problem (to test to see if was downloads of everything)
Has anyone got the answer please?

All of a sudden we're unable to download on programmes on either main sky q box or any of the mini boxes.
Just comes up with 'download failed' almost immediately, on any box and with any programme.
Has anyone else had this?
