Yeah it's all one big conspiracy. They all live on the moon with Elvis and want us to pay for a or glass because the clock works better. I do love a good conspiracy theory to cheer me up!

Thanks @Sam-R I've just done the manual update and my clock now shows the correct time 👍🏻😄

So, despite the billions Sky makes every year, they can't send a time correction signal via satellite. Funny how quickly subscription cancellation signals get through. Very poor!

They can send the signal and have stated it is going out Wednesday/ Thursday. Or you could just do the manual update [removed]
Moderator note: offensive comment.

They have sent a correction via satellite - there's a software update waiting on your box.
Not sure if you think your username is at all relevant..

They already have done this @MurdochPressSucks , it is up to you to install it or wait until it is installed for you either at 2.10am on Wednesday or Thursday.

I have access to 9 clocks in my living room (bit of an obsession!), I'll happily wait for auto update, the wrong time on my box is something I can quite easily live with...

That is what I am doing as I can't be bothered to update the boxes myself because as you say this is a non issue that hasn't caused any issues whatsoever in using the boxes.

I update to check that the fix worked 👍 and I could feedback to sky if it failed and give them chance to try agaiin, but luckily it worked as expected 🙂

Now here's the thing. Don't Sky actually test an update before sending it out?? LOL 😂

This has been more amusing than concerning as everything has recorded OK and the prompt announcement of a software fix is very welcome
What's the odds that this was all because someone programmed in the USA end date for daylight saving time (next weekend) instead of our end of summer time (last weekend) and is now busy writing out 100 times 'I must not get it so wrong' while sitting on a naughty step?

Shhhh, Don't mention US time/date standards. Someone might complain that their skybox is showing the wrong date, 11th of February.
