A question for you. On my Glass tv there is an option in settings to switch on or off the motion sensor. In Start up and Standby, you can have on or off the Auto Standby when no motion detected option. OK - no problems.
on my puck, connected to an LG tv. This option isn't available.
however, a warning is appearing at the top of the screen with alarming regularity saying more or less "are you still there? Pick up your handset or the tv will power down".
so, I don't have the option to turn this on or off, but it is active. Any clues? I'd prefer ability to turn it off, but can't, so don't understand why it's active. Is it just a glitch or is there something I can do?
Thanks in advance for any help.

I didn't know you could use a Firestick or other streaming device with Glass. When did that become available?
also, does that mean you can use it to get Sports without Sky's exhorbitant monthly fee?

I suspect the timer on the Stream is linked t omthe motion sendor in the remote so could activate if you are watching something long with no input required from the remote. Although saying thst I rarely use my Stream remote as I control it most of the time via a Harmony remote. If there is a chance I will ask the question of Sky and report back.

Sky Glass has 3 HDMI inputs on the back of the TV
These HDMI inputs been available to use since Sky Glass was launched
You can connect any device that has a HDMI output
My Sky Glass TV
I have connected
HDMI 1) 4K UHD Blu-ray player
HDMI 2) AV 4K Receiver (So I can use my own AV receiver speakers and other connected devices that I use on AV receiver)
HDMI 3) Chromecast with Google TV 4K (This is another similar streaming device to Firestick/Apple TV Box etc)
IF you have a device that does ARC/eARC you connect this to HDMI 2 on Sky Glass as that HDMI input has ARC/eArc
ARC is audio return channel

Thanks for that. I use 2 of the ports already, 1 x Blue ray player, and 2nd for Headphone output, but I was sure that I'd read they wouldn't work with a Streaming device, so that's really good news. 👍

Many thanks, I'd appreciate anything you can find out as it just seems strange to me. Maybe it's as you say, but if that's the case I can't stop it and it's bloody annoying! 😂

Hi, mine is still running 13.009, but I have been getting it glitching and switching off then rebooting. I have it connected with an ethernet connection, but have noticed that the WIFI is also turned on and says connected. Not sure if this is causing the issue, since it does look like it's switching across connections. 🤔. I have turned off the WIFI and it seems better now. Not sure if the last update included streaming to the SkyGlass TV, but thinking this is maybe why the WIFI is now on, when it wasn't before.
Any ideas? 🤔

Agree, roll out Profiles (I'm not interested) many are waiting.
Sort out continue watching to remove content no longer interested in or watched.
Sort out search that is so wanting.
Sort out Netflix
And all the time squash those bugs.
Not asking for much in the scale of things.
You're right @Anonymous ... and for all the complaining there is about Glass, in fairness to Sky when you look at it like this we really are very nearly there.

@Jporch316 didn't realise you had a Firestick. Mentioning the other brands is likely to put you into purgatory, so delayed updates for you. 🤣

@Jporch316 I need sympathy as the burden of being one of the last is quite tough going.
Wednesday was brillant, Strike is on the list to start this week.
