How to delete 'historic' Sky IDs

I have just subscribed to a Broadband service by telephone and I was asked for my email so as to create a SkyID. But, in trying to subsequently log in to my account, Sky remembers that I have had other Sky IDs from several years ago when I had their Mobile and Broadband services - both now closed.

To simplify matters I would like to delete previous IDs - but I dont know how to do it. Nor do I understand the processes of 'linking' and delinking'  IDs and accounts that Sky offers. Now that I take only one service from them I simply want one account and one ID.

Apologies if this is a silly question.

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out more

The easiest way to do this is to login to these old IDs and remove the email address from them, as this should then let you login to your new ID using the same email address.

Re: How to delete 'historic' Sky IDs

You can contact Sky’s customer support to remove or unlink your old Sky IDs, ensuring you have just one active account for your broadband service. They can also clarify the linking and delinking process for better account management.

Have you tried resetting your Sky ID to see if it helps with accessing your account?

Re: How to delete 'historic' Sky IDs

Thank you for these two solutions. I have taken your advices and managed to delete the unwanted IDs with the help of a Sky agent. REgards.
