I need to change my sky ID email address as the current one is my daughters email address and I need to change it to mine but it keeps saying "your email address could not be updated please try again later"

Find out moreTo get you some help with this I have escalated your post to the Sky Messaging team who should be in touch with you regarding this via a blue/red chat bubble which will appear at the bottom of this page. It can take up to a few hours to be contacted via this.
This link explains how this works so you will need to respond to the chat bubble at the bottom of the page when it appears by typing it it to start the chat:

When the chat bubble does appear you will need to respond to it as soon as you can or it will be closed if there is no response within 48 hours. To start the conversation just type in it.

I have exactly the same problem. My son commandeered the sky id email address years ago and I need to change it to my address. I am trying to do this but the Sky account page will not let me. Why? I have tried phoning Sky but cannot get to talk to a human being without seemingly having to waste hours of my time trying to explain to some bot what the issue is. And the online messaging is equally useless. Please can someone help me change email address. Thanks

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out more@PaulCorver I'm assuming it's the communication email address you want to change. Nobody here can do that for you, I'm afraid. You would either need to persevere with online messaging or calling.

@Mark39 i get all the comms to my email address but sky id is under my son's email address and is apparently a secondary email address. taking to IT outsource at present who I hope are able to change sky id to the primary address. The simplest thing to change has become a marathon.
