Getting in touch
I was told back in October that I could leave Sky without a termination charge because of a problem they couldn't fix.. I leaped at the chance because I was unhappy with the service. I moved to Virgin, payed what I thought was my last Sky Bill for the month up untill I left.. I have now been getting letters to say I have an unpaid bill and that my services would be suspended until I pay, I need to get in touch with someone at Sky to find out what is going on, but no matter what number I seem to find I'm just getting an automated recording saying I need to pay the bill and can't get any further. But I'm not paying for something I havnt been using, does anybody know how to get to speak to a human being and not a robot??!

Re: Getting in touch
You do need to pay what Sky say you owe before you can speak to an agent. Obviously any overpayment will be reimbursed.

Re: Getting in touch
Well I'm not paying anything.. I've got the email to say I can leave, the email to confirm I've left (the sorry your leaving email), I payed my last bill to them when I was meant to, I posted back the equipment they asked for and the stuff they didn't is boxed up in the loft, you shouldn't have to pay money to speak to someone, what happens if you couldn't afford the bill and need some sort of help, do they expect you to get into more financial trouble by borrowing the money just to speak with someone

Re: Getting in touch
Unfortunately if you don't pay what Sky believe you owe then your debt will be passed to a debt recovery company and that could well impact your credit rating.

Re: Getting in touch
Hi @Simon-A1980 Try putting 141 in front of the telephone number. How much is it, and is it worth destroying your credit rating and bailiffs knocking on the door.

Re: Getting in touch
It will be an automated process that's kicked in. Unfortunately, it's very difficult to get past.
You may be able to speak to someone by using a different number to call them or by hiding yours (141 prefix).
