Hi. I am the Sky broadband user for 11 years. I am considering to change the provider as Sky is rising the price again. Anyone has a good experience with getting a discount from Sky ?

Re: Old customer but price gets higher and higher
You'll probably be able to negotiate a discount from Sky, but you'll undoubtedly get a better proce by signing up as a new customer with another provider. It depends how much of a faff you're prepared to go to.

Re: Old customer but price gets higher and higher
Plenty have, the key thing to remember is if you are given a discount you will need to make a decision there and then and it will come with a new 24 month contract. Also your price will nit be fixed throughout this period (so you will see a price rise next April with the annual price rise) but the discount itself will be.

Do they have any discounts for retired people?

No. Not specifically for older customers.

There's no individual number. To call Sky dial 150 (free) from a Sky Talk landline or a Sky mobile. Alternatively use this link…
https://www.sky.com/help/home
UK customers: Scroll down and click on ‘Need more help’ leading to a number starting 0333.
ROI customers: change the flag in the bottom right corner of the link to the ROI flag then scroll down and click on ‘Need more help’ to see a dedicated ROI number. (Customer Services in the ROI are not open at weekends).
The posting of full phone numbers isn’t permitted on the forum.
Calls to Sky will initially be automated which may try to send you here to the forum, offer you online help or offer to send you a text. Stay on the line as long as possible and saying nothing when asked the reason for the call sometimes helps being put in the queue for an agent.
