We had Sky Q until November last year but cancelled our contract and went to using streaming and NowTV only. However we now want to come back to Sky and get Sky Stream, because a friend of mine who works at Sky has sent us a really good offer (half price).
Upon trying to use it, the Sky system says we cannot get Sky Stream because we are Sky Q customers. But we no longer are.
Any ideas? I have tried speaking to Sky and they can help me over the phone, but not at the discounted price (which is significant). Is there a way for Sky to update their systems to "see" that we are no longer customers? Does anybody know if this happens automatically after a certain number of months?
First world problem I know!!!

if the offer you are trying to get is a "new customer" deal you wouldn't be eligible as you need to not be a Sky customer for longer than 12 months to be eligible for a new customer deal. Whereas if you cancelled in November that would only be 4-5 months.

In the back of mind I thought it had been extended to 18 months but I wasn't too sure 😀.
