I've just done this and it does work now! Frustrating though hope its fixed by the end of the 2 free months!

Free months offer for UHD have been there for a while. I've seen that (whether its been 2 months or 3 months) for quite a while now in My Sky.

Has there been any further updates on how sky stream customers can watch the last 2 episodes ( before the next one is aired this week). Emailed the viewer support team and their response was to watch it on skygo.....not really a valid solution for a family to watch on phones when you've paid for a TV subscription.

The other option is seeing if you have a few months free offer of UHD in your My Sky account and adding that so you can watch the UHD version which does work.

Check that your tv supports UHD first. We did and last night took out the 2 months free subscription, with a calendar reminder to cancel before they start charging. Note that when you want to watch, select the cog and pick UHD. 

 

On the plus side, no ad breaks.

Tbh they can jog on, never had issues with Virgin and will be moving back asap.....

Chicago pd recording

When I go to watch Chicago PD the first segment plays fine but after the first set of adverts there is just a black screen, though the sound is fine. When you fast forward the ad. breaks play as normal but the screen is completely black for the drama. This has now happened twice  : season 12, episode 5 and 6. 
I have tried watching at different times , not using ad. skipping and turning off at the mains and restarting, though recordings  of other shows are playing fine.

I have moved your post to the ongoing discussion about this as it isn't connected to Sky Go (where you had posted) as the Sky Go episodes are fine. If you have access to UHD these work as well.

They told me it was a faulty puck on Monday.  Sent me a new one yesterday.... set it up..... exactly the same issue!  I have tried adding ad skipping... nothing.  I have a UHD tv set it to 2060p still doesn't work

@Traceyjnjohnson do you have the UHD add-on on your subscription? If you do you need to make sure you are selecting the UHD version when playing it ( it can take several hours for the Auto detect feature to switch between HD to UHD as the default setting once you add the UHD add-on).

That will be the issue then, as the problem is only affecting the HD version of Glass/Stream, which is why the workarounds are to watch on Sky Go or add the UHD add-on and watch the UHD version. If you aren't a current UHD subscriber, you will likely find an offer for a few months of free UHD in your My Sky account.

I've got UHD and have selected 10bit and it still doesn't work for me 😞
