Being haunted by Catfish too 🤬
So glad to find out it's not just me though!

Same here !!

This Catfish is still haunting me!! I've tried deleting the series link, I've tried deleting it on the planner and it STILL turns up!! And there's dozens of them!! It records 8 at a time!! Can ANYBODY suggest a solution?? It's driving me crazy!!!

It's getting me angry now! Every day before I go to work I have to check my planner and delete whichever version of Catfish is scheduled for that day - and there's ALWAYS something scheduled. Every single day. I always delete the series link first and then delete the title itself but the next day, it will be back in a different form. I've only ever recorded the straightforward version of Catfish, never these series with different titles, so they shouldn't even be there but the show just refuses to go away. 😭
I can't believe so many of us are being stalked by Nev! 😁 Surely there must be something Sky can do?

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out moreHave you reported it to Sky's viewer relations team at ViewerR@sky.uk ?

No,I have'nt reported it to them,I thought mentioning it on here would have been sufficient enough for Sky's viewer relations team to monitor this site and do something about it,or what's the point in having a site like this in the first place.

No, I've never heard of them but I will now. Not hopeful they'll fix it, though seeing as it's happening to so many people but it's worth a go.

This particular issue is an odd one, in that it's not affecting many people (in terms of an overall percentage of Sky customers) but is affecting some people who claim to have never even recorded MTV let alone Catfish

The forum is primarily for customers to help each other. Sky do monitor the forum but I don't know that the Viewer Relations team have access to it.

Came home today to find it had recorded about another 7 episodes of catfish. I thought it was sorted as it hasn't happened for a few days but it has started again and it was back in the scheduler.what are sky going to do about it? Very frustrated!

I've never ever recorded catfish.I have a few recordings stored on my box which I use for reference documentarys, walking Britain etc.....and I have a limited cash of memory left for recording movies and CSI etc...but Catfish is using up all of that percent I have left and it's coming up with recording failed due to lack of memory.Perhaps I should think about using a Freeview or Freesat recorder,I'm sure that would solve the problem.

Did anybody get to a resolution on this, as others have said, deleted episodes and series link for Catfish but it keeps recording an episode or two every day!!!
12 Dec 2019 08:42 AM
Nope - I've been liaising with Sky on their instant messaging, who say this is 'weird' and told me to rebuild my planner, which I did yesterday.
Got up this morning, checked... there's yet another Catfish sitting in the scheduled section. I'm going to get back on to them now to say it's not worked - I have no idea if anybody is going to resolve this, seeing as they don't know why it's happening! I'm not giving up, though as it's driving me mad.

I have the Catfish problem too!! Records it all the time despite me never having watched it. Never set it up to record, cancel it everyday.
Why the hell aren't sky doing something about this? It's a joke

Yeah, same tried a planner rebuild and within half an hour another episode of Catfish was lined up to record today!
