What Sky box do you have, is it a Sky+ or Sky Q one and are you saying you have one viewing card and take it from your home to your holiday home ?

That's never been a legitimate thing to do, and Sky now actively blocks it for Sky+ HD boxes.

Why would anyone need to do it to Sky Q boxes that are only available on loan?

Whether or not Sky have taken action previously it's still a breach of the terms and conditions a customer has agreed to. It would appear Sky weren't happy with customers flaunting the rules.

@Welshdragonllan

I'm afraid that the bottom line is that since the end of October 2024 you can no longer pair a viewing card to a Sky+ box it was not paired to at that time. That includes Sky+/HD boxes at other homes, or a box aquiried elsewhere to replace a faulty box.

Re: Pairing sky card

Yes ...Sky have changed the policy to increase the conversions from Sky+ HD to Sky Q or Sky Stream🤔

It will help to end those on legacy packs😉

@Welshdragonllan

You can take out a separate subscription but not for Sky+/HD. You'd need Sky Q, Stream or Glass.
