sky stream has no live tv or tv guide

im having issue with the tv guide either not showing or after a reboot showing tv schedule waiting. I've unplugged the puck, restarted everything including my broadband and nothing.

Ever since 7:00 p.m. this evening I cannot watch most of the channels on Sky Stream - especially the Sky channels !

I have tried switching it off at the mains for 30 seconds several times but that has not resolved the problem. My broadband is working fine and my router has all the lights on.

Sky now has a message on service status

There's an outage in your area

You might not be able to watch TV at the moment.

We're working on getting you back up and running. It can usually take a couple of hours to fix things like this.

Also have no viewing guide option on the "home" screen of Stream. Reboot (multiple times) and reset has not resolved the problem.

This is shockingly bad. Obviously this isn't an isolated issue, so where's Sky with their explanation or ETA for fix?

I've had Stream for a couple of years now and have 4 pucks all working normally until now. On one puck only the TV Guide has disappeared. I've checked the network connection which is excellent, restarted the puck several times and disconnected it from the mains for 15 minutes all to no avail.

I can stream iPlayer and other apps just fine but having no TV guide is unacceptable.

Any ideas?

Ah! It seems Sky are having issues with the live channels. We've been watching ITV and that seems fine, but many are not. Just checked the My Sky app Sky are now reporting an outage

We're experiencing the same problems as everyone else. Only now looking on the internet to see if this is happening to anyone else - just wasted an hour trying to fix things with multipleon/off/reboots.

Go to a steaming service such as Netflix. Watch something to 10 seconds then go back to live TV. I had exactly the same issue with lots of channels and they now work. Must be a Sky Stream software issue.

PS Rebooting didn't fix it for some reason (tried that before Netflix)
