When watching a programme on my playlist, after every ad break the stream jumps back to the beginning of that section instead of moving on to the next. It also sometimes skips back to just before the adverts and I have to fast forward through them after just watching them. Has anyone else had this issue and is there a fix?
There was a similar issue when using the watch from start function but I've not seen any posts recently with your issue . Try powering down your stream for 5 minutes by pulling the plug. Hopefully this will cure any glitches

I have exact same issue. Especially My5. Every time advert comes on, after ad break it constantly jumps back to the start each and every damn time. 🤬🤬🤬🤬

Streaming from play list, jumps back to first add break.

Same for me. Trying to watch F1, get an advert, then goes back about 15 minutes prior to the advert.
Typical Sky, they must employ the worst software designers.

Re: Sky stream playliats junp back after every ad
I just came on here to ask this exact question.
I'll watch the first segment, then the ad break will come on. Then the show will revert back to the first segment before the ad break. Then I have to fast forward through the segment, and the ad break to get to the next segment. Then the skip will continue like this with each segment and ad break. So frustrating.
Is Sky looking at a fix? If it helps, for me, it's been happening all though the F1 broadcasts from the playlist.

The QS35 software update is supposed to improve or fix this issue. Your puck will update automatically at some point over the next few weeks.

Re: Sky stream playliats junp back after every ad
I have QS035 and this problem is still happening. Trying to watch the F1 qualifying this morning was painful as it jumped back to the beginning after each advert. I then had to fast forward to the point I was watching. It also happened when watching Madame Blanc Mysteries. I don't have ad skipping.

Re: Sky stream playliats junp back after every ad
Has any fix been proposed from Sky on this one?
is occurring for me every time I try to watch F1 qualifying if I'm watching it on a bit of a delay. Each ad break it jumps backwards, then I have to skip ahead and sit though the ads each time. A bit unfair I have to sit through the ads a second time due to the error on the box.
seems to still occur even if I reset or power off the box.
This really is fast becoming the reason I'm considering giving up on sky stream

Yes, it's still happening for me also. Apparently they were working on a fix?

Dread to think how many customers have paid for add removal to get around the bug

Re: Sky stream playliats junp back after every ad
This exact same thing is happening to me, specifically with ITVX. When getting through the adverts and when the programme is about to begin it's next part, it then jumps back to the beginning of the previous part that we've just watched. So have to fast forward through what we've just watched to get to where we need to be. Pretty poor from Sky and so annoying.

Can we bump this thread?
Sky, this issue is still happening.
Even worse, now when I fast forward through the repeated section, I have to watch the ads again as it won't let me fast forward though them.
