Steam is going off every few minuets making watching almost impossible.
Screen goes totally black and like others have to change channel to get it to come back on.
Had stream a while now. First real issue

Every channel watched keeps going to a black screen then switch to another channel and that comes on and then goes off. Rebooted sky broadband and sky stream and same happens again. Build version QS017. 005.02P. Please help.

They seem to respond only via a robot that doesn't help at all or set up a discussion page to have more people discuss the same problem with no solution.
no phone number to call, I too maybe switching if this is how it's going to be really don't have the time to be messing about

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out more@RB2023 You can call on 150 from a Sky Talk Line or Sky Mobile.
If you haven't got a current Sky Mobile or Sky Talk this link should help:
(UK) https://www.sky.com/help/home Scroll down and click on ‘Need more help’ and it provides a 0333 number
(ROI) on the same link change the flag in the very bottom corner to the ROI flag to obtain an 0818 number.
Stay on the line and don’t hang up if prompted to. Apparently the quieter times to ring are just after 7am or about 9pm.

Having had a puck for about a year without too many issues, recently though, the puck just drops the pictutre, screen goes black and a sometimes a messgae appears "please while your programme loads" or something similar, it can happen within minuites of getter the progamme back by going through the tv guide, its probably happening about 4/5 time an evening, i have tried pulling all the leads off the puck and leaving a minuit before re booting and that makes no difference...........please help SKY!!!!

So, I've had Sky Stream for less than a week. Yesterday and today, the screen has randomly gone black with loss of sound.
It appears again if I switch channel and go back to the original channel. Also, I've experienced a sound issue; sound goes echoey on occasion when switching channel.
Has anyone experienced this and how is it fixed?
Thanks

My Sky stream goes off every 20 minutes today. This is the first time this has happen. Would it be better for me to have an ethernet cable from the router to the puck and would this stop it switching off?

Just got off the phone to Sky. Known software issue, they are rolling back tonight so should be fine tomorow.

Hello,
I too am having the same issue with Sky Stream, every so often the screen and sound cut out entirely on the TV channels, before returning to normal a few minutes later later. This is very frustrating and not what I was expecting ....

I'm with TalkTalk - all other devices seem to be working fine

Only had Sky Stream for a few weeks, was happy with it but have started to experience black screens when watching "live" TV channels. Apps are all fine and so are playlists.
The puck is on ethernet cable so not a WiFi problem and our broadband is 500Mps and is fine on other devices when the screen goes black.
Anyone got any anwsers, it sound like a software issue, is there a rollout fix any time soon?

Hello,
doesn't matter what channel or program but for the last couple of days the TV screen goes black & sound stops too. It's so fusdrating & have to wait a couple of minutes then go onto the TV Guide, then a program loads after a minute or two. Then pick something else to watch & it happens again. 100% the TV isn't on sleep mode
